Over the past year, our direct action has been instrumental in the successful resolution of numerous missing persons cases in Tenerife and other Canary Islands. We achieve this by focusing on positive outcomes, providing a service that is both discreet and compassionate.
Our approach is founded on a methodical and calm pursuit of the facts. While public appeals are often the most visible aspect of a search, our most vital work is done quietly behind the scenes. We make patient enquiries to hospitals, businesses, and community organisations, and collaborate closely with the police and other authorities to piece together the most likely scenario.
Following the facts, we call upon the right resources—from search and rescue teams to the families themselves—to assist in tracing a missing person’s most likely course. Once a person is found, our effort shifts to ensuring their next steps are safe and supported. We coordinate everything from immediate medical assistance to a safe return home, providing dignity and care at a time of great vulnerability.
Ultimately, we believe that true help is delivered with quiet discretion, respecting the privacy and dignity of those we assist. We never charge for our services, but our crucial work is supported by compassionate funding. Donations go directly towards covering our volunteers’ field costs and providing essential items, such as clothing or temporary accommodation.
